PCC helped me to decide to pack up my MITs Altair and head to UC Berkeley and see what havoc I could inflict on an unsuspecting institution. I left Berkeley with a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (and a stash of Anchor Steam Beer) and headed to the wilds of Southern California. I was fortunate to work with many good people designing and implementing a lot of fun projects including: inertial navigation systems, disk controllers and disk drives, multiprocessor systems, data communication systems and PC systems. The most notable of those jobs was a stint of 10 years with AST Research (aka AST Computers) as Principal Software Engineer.

I have moved to the Chicago area with my wife and 4 children where I'm currently Development Manager of Networking Products for Computer Associates.
