At the time I was a reader of People's Computer Company I was an IBM
mainframe systems programmer, as I am today. Largely because of the
inspiration of PCC we started a personal-computer club in 1976. This
club is still going and we recently celebrated our 25th anniversary
(WWW.SEMCO.ORG) ...
I am currently very interested in Linux (which
harkens back to the spirit of the 60s and 70s). I have signed up for
the 'Linux Lunacy' cruise (see
www.geekcruises.com) for fall of 01 ...
I see where there is a BASIC interpreter for Linux .... Hmmm ... Wonder if
we could get WUMPUS to go? ... I am amazed that you guys tracked me down.
